Linnie (Lannie) Hancock of Jacksonville, FL at age 67, went home to be with our Lord and Savior April 17th, 2024, surrounded by friends and family that loved and adored her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years Roger; her parents Hallie and Eva Moore; siblings Mary, Charles, Hallie Jr, George, Daryl, James, Robert, and Nancy.
Linnie leaves behind daughters Eva Galler (Roger) and & Jamie Hancock (who has 8 God children); four grandchildren Roger, Samantha, Elianya and Banphrionsa whom were her whole world and one great-grandson Carson. She is also survived by two siblings Randolph Moore and Donna Stuart. Her love extended further to include brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren she loved and counted as family.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Watson-King Funeral Home Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. before processing to Richmond County Memorial Park Cemetery where a graveside service will be held in Linnie’s Honor with Rev. Tom Lee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made out to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741. Online memorials can be made at www.watson-kingfuneralhome.com. Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham is assisting the Hancock Family.
